Christin Ditchfield

Christin Ditchfield
Bestselling author and conference speaker CHRISTIN DITCHFIELD is passionate about calling people to a deeper life of faith—encouraging and equipping them to experience a more meaningful relationship with Christ. As a professional freelance writer, Christin has written dozens of gospel tracts and hundreds of articles, essays, and columns for national and international magazines. She is the author of more than 80 books and Bible studies, on a wide variety of subjects and for a wide variety of readers, including devotional and inspirational books for women, books on C.S. Lewis, books and Bible studies on spiritual formation, and books for children and their families.

But she is perhaps best known for A Family Guide to Narnia: Biblical Truths in C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia, along with a half dozen other literature and curriculum guides she has written, introducing thousands of elementary school children and their families to the world of Narnia.

For seventeen years, Christin hosted her own syndicated radio program, Take It To Heart!®, broadcast daily on hundreds of stations (including the Moody network) across the United States and around the world. She’s been a frequent guest on many other radio and television programs and podcasts, as well.

Christin holds a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Christian Leadership with a minor in Systematic Theology, a master’s degree (MA) in Bible and Theology, and a doctorate (DMin) in Spiritual Formation. She is also a Certified Labyrinth Facilitator, trained to lead others in the contemplative Christian practice of praying the labyrinth.

Christin and her husband, Lewis scholar and Episcopal priest Andrew Lazo, currently make their home in Winter Garden (Orlando), Florida.
