Product Description

"A wise and experienced guide, Todd Chipman offers practical direction on how local congregations can do better in our quest to care for those Jesus calls 'the least of these my brothers.'" –Russell Moore, author of Adopted for Life

Your church is doing so much already. Trying to convince people to do foster care or adoption can feel like just another daunting, impossible task. It's hard enough to get volunteers for the nursery, much less volunteers to foster or adopt a child!

But what if we're thinking about it the wrong way? What if orphan care actually increases your church's capacity to do ministry? What if this one ministry opens doors to many others?

Discover how orphan care transforms 6 key aspects of your ministry, meet dozens of families and churches who have experienced the transformative power of orphan care, and learn how you can get involved even if you're not ready to foster or adopt.

After catching the vision for this vital ministry, you'll be ready to join them!

Praise for Until Every Child Is Home

"Todd Chipman doesn't just teach and preach orphan-care; he's a product of orphan-care, a passionate advocate for orphan-care, and has led his family to be orphan-care exemplars. Until Every Child Is Home reveals Todd's heart, God's heart, and will help shape the heart of every reader on an issue that is, Scripture clearly states, the essence of true religion."
—PAUL CHITWOOD
President of the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention

"Until Every Child Is Home is a theologically rich, practically helpful and personally engaging account of why the church must care for the most vulnerable. It will challenge you, encourage you, and inspire you no matter where you are on your journey!"
—JASON JOHNSON

"I'm so glad to see this book! Todd Chipman is a faithful and wise teacher who articulates the biblical foundations for orphan care and adoption, while also highlighting the practical challenges of engaging in this labor of love. I wholeheartedly recommend it for those considering adoption, and/or those engaging in ministry to the orphan!"
—TONY MERIDA
Pastor for Preaching and Vision, Imago Dei Church, Raleigh, NC
Coauthor, Orphanology

"It is amazing what God can do through your family and church if you embrace the biblical mandate to care for orphans. Not everyone is called to foster or adopt a child, but everyone can play a role in the care for children in need. In Until Every Child Is Home, Todd Chipman brings together what the Bible says along with the practical experiences of several couples who have adopted or served children through foster care. I highly recommend this book to parents who are preparing for their first steps in this journey or for churches that want to make orphan care more central to their faith family."
—KEVIN EZELL
President, North American Mission Board, SBC

"In Until Every Child Is Home, Todd gracefully makes the case for the church fulfilling James 1:27, to care for the widow and orphan in their distress. I'm deeply grateful for Todd's tender and truthful approach to child welfare. As someone who's been doubly adopted, by my Heavenly Father and by earthly parents, I'm encouraged by this book on child welfare, and I commend it to be read and used by every church, as they seek to live out the gospel."
