PAT ENNIS taught Home Economics for the San Diego Unified School District while developing the Home Economics Department at Christian Heritage College (now San Diego Christian College). She moved to The Master's College in 1987 to establish the Home Economics Family and Consumer Science Department. Pat relocated to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in fall 2011 to assume the position of Distinguished Professor of Family and Consumer Sciences, after having served as its consultant for five years. He earned a Ph.D. degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has 22 years of experience pastoring two churches. He has authored The Acts of God and Lessons from the Life of Moody. He and his wife, Christina, have four children.

KEVIN DEYOUNG (PhD, University of Leicester) is the senior pastor at Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina, and associate professor of systematic theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte.
