Mark Senter III
MARK H. SENTER III (Diploma, Moody Bible Institute; B.A., University of Illinois; M.A., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; Ph.D., Loyola University, Chicago) is chair of the Educational Ministries Department and professor of educational ministries at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Previously, Dr. Senter served as a youth pastor for eleven years, and then as pastor of Christian education at Wheaton Bible Church for seven years. Dr. Senter's extensive teaching experience includes a two-year assignment at Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology in Seoul, Korea, where he served as a visiting professor in education ministries. In addition, he has served as a visiting faculty member at sixteen other colleges and seminaries. Dr. Senter has written or edited a number of books, including
Reaching a Generation for Christ, Christian Education: Foundations for the Future, and
The Complete Book of Youth Ministry. He and his wife, Ruth, reside in north suburban Chicago and have two grown children.
