JAMES FORD, JR. (Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) has been the Senior Pastor at Christ Bible Church (formerly South Shore Baptist Church), located on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, since 1982. He serves on several boards, including the Baptist General Conference’s Board of World Missions, the Alumni Board of Moody Bible Institute, the Board of Directors of Fellowship Christian Academy, and serves as the President of Impact Ministries. In addition, Pastor Ford provides the messages for Impact Ministries' radio broadcast,
Treasured Truth for Troubling Times, which may be heard on more than 160 WMBI syndicate and affiliate stations around nationwide, and speaks at conferences and seminars around the world.Pastor Ford was honored as Pastor of the Year (1993) by Moody Bible Institute and received the Gutenberg Award from the Chicago Bible Society (2008).
