Study the Bible with one of America's greatest theologians.
Charles Ryrie's life work was to help people know and understand the Bible—a pursuit that encompassed church ministry, college professorships, and, most notably, his position as the Systematic Theology Chair at Dallas Theological Seminary. The Ryrie Study Bible reflects this lifetime of biblical scholarship in a single, powerful work.
Since its initial publication in 1978, The Ryrie Study Bible has sold more than 2.6 million copies, giving countless Bible readers a firmer grasp on “the greatest of books.” Available in multiple translations and containing more than 10,000 of Dr. Ryrie's explanatory notes, it is a single source for all Bible study needs.
Included are detailed sections for broad biblical comprehension:
The current format of the page of this Bible is hard to go to a verse quickly. I preferred it when each verse started a new line so I could go quickly to that verse. Now you have to muddle through a whole paragraph to find the verse and by the time it's found the pastor is past that verse. I don't see that you offer this Bible in a large print. I am not concerned if the Bible is fewer pages, it needs to be easily searched. The Ryrie NASB Study Bible is my favorite bible. I need a new one, but I want to be able to search quickly for the verse I want. I also would like a lot of blank space for notes.
I just received my Ryrie NAS Study Bible, and I absolutely love it. The page lay out leaves room for personal notation on scriptures, and the language is easy to read and comprehend without having to pile your laps with other helps. The full color maps are beautifully done, and the other study helps are not only timely, but are much needed in every Bible in my opinion. Good job, I would highly recommend this Bible.
