Manny Mill

Manny Mill
Manny Mill is the executive director of Koinonia House® National Ministries. He delivers a passionate, urgent and Gospel-centered message in churches, colleges, conferences, and especially behind prison walls.Koinonia House National Ministries’ (KHNM) mission is to bridge the gap between the Christian inmate and the local church, facilitating the integration of the former inmate into the church, workplace, and society through biblical discipleship. This is done by evangelizing the incarcerated, teaching those who are in prison, meeting our Christian neighbors at the prison gate, and assisting the Church in loving our Christian neighbors coming from prison. Manny surrendered to Jesus Christ while running from the FBI in Caracas, Venezuela in 1986. He returned to the United States and served nearly two years in federal prison. In 1988, he received one of the first Charles W. Colson Scholarships awarded to ex-prisoners to attend Wheaton College (IL). There he earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies (1989) and an M.A. in Theological Studies (1991). Manny was ordained to the work of the Gospel in May 1991. A self-proclaimed Biblicist, this Cuban-born evangelist possesses the unique skill of being able to adapt to any situation and audience, communicating in both English and Spanish. Because of Manny’s love for God’s holy written and living word, the Bible, he is able to present the gospel with clarity and infectious enthusiasm. Manny has appeared on numerous radio, television and cable television programs. “Unshackled,” the radio ministry of Pacific Garden Mission, broadcast a dramatization of Manny’s testimony on over 1,500 stations in 147 countries, and “Focus on the Family” aired Manny’s message speaking to the need for churches to minister to the families of inmates. In addition to serving prisons and churches across the United States, Manny has ministered in churches and prisons in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, and Uganda. Radical Redemption: The Real Story of Manny Mill was published by Moody Publishers in August 2003, and re-released in December 2012 with a special paperback edition for use in prisons. The Spanish language edition is expected to be released in April 2013. With a foreword by the late Chuck Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship, this book describes Manny’s journey from Cuba to Venezuela and then into prison and finally to life with Jesus.A father of five adult children and grandfather of six, Manny resides with his wife Barbara in Wheaton, IL.
