I am a special education teacher and I was super excited for this book. I have used the theory with my class and it made such a difference in my attitude toward my students and theirs with each other. Then with the app that Moody provided it was an added bonus because I have an IPAD in my room. I believe that when children discover their language it will make a difference in their learning and their interpersonal communication with others.

We love our children and want to teach them about the importance of love. Dr. Gary Chapman, a relationship expert, teaches our children about love with first children's book, A Perfect Pet For Peyton.
A Perfect Pet for Peyton tells an entertaining and playful story of five children who each, with the help of Mr. Chapman and the pets at his emporium, discover their own love language.

The story is a little long and certainly geared for the over 5 crowd. In fact, I recommend it for ages 5-13! Sure those tweens might find it a little cheesy, but they will love the ending! With that being said, I think it is a good resource for parents, too. Read my full review at http://www.mymommyreads.blogspot.com/2012/05/love-languages.html

This book was written to help your child discover his or her own love language with their level and experiences in mind. I absolutely love this book because it works so well for wide age ranges that are typically in a family. This is a wonderful family bonding book! From the Dr. that brought us The 5 Love Languages...His first ever children's book: A Perfect Pet for Peyton by Dr. Gary Chapman. I have read this book a few times with Broxton and he has loved looking at all the different animals throughout it, but I have loved it for the message of the book.
