Ward’s book is a well written book full of wonderful insights and engaging stories about their journey through God’s Word together. I started reading the Bible out loud to my children the day after I began reading Ward’s book, then I lent the book to a friend who is now doing the same thing. I highly recommend Together to any parent who wants to help their children develop a love and a knowledge of God's Word! http://www.simplylivingforhim.com/2012/10/together-growing-appetites-for-god-book.html

Together: Growing Appetites For God by Carrie Ward, an Everyday Mama will encourage you to get reading God’s Holy Word! It’s no too late! Ward shares personal stories and her writing style is gentle and not judgmental at all! Ward shows how she got her family reading the Bible and memorizing Scripture. You can probably use this resource with your small group because there are small group questions for every chapter! http://fivestarbooksandmore.blogspot.com/p/fiction.html

The short book is extremely encouraging. I loved that she started it while her children were so young still. I was so encouraged and inspired by the book that before I even finished it (and it’s a quick read), I’d started reading a regular Bible with my children. It’s such a simple idea, but that’s why it works so well. Read my full review at

As a mother of four children I was excited to read the journey of Carrie Ward as she takes us along the journey of reading the Bible with her young children. Reading the bible from beginning to end is something I’ve always wanted to do. The inspiration that Carrie Ward provides in this book gives me the knowledge to be able to achieve this task. If you have struggled to read the Bible let Carrie Ward be an inspiration to you too. http://queenofsavings.com/together-growing-appetites-for-god.html/

Together is easy to read, not too long, and very encouraging. It goes into a lot of personal stories, which sometimes felt odd, but I understand that it is the author’s intention to share her heart and her life. Read my full review and more at http://www.aneverydaymama.com/

This book is written for moms, to help guide them in encouraging their children to love God’s word. For starters, of course we as moms need to be good examples of people who desire to be in the Word ourselves. The book goes into many other ways we can encourage our kids to love the Word.
