I love that this book is a resource for parents to instill God’s principles in the everyday lives of our family. Mom, you’ll find small icons beside Scripture passages to help you recognize that a Scripture is pulled from a longer Bible passage that’s familiar to you. Every topic has a definition, relevant scripture, discussion questions and a take action part. This book is a MUST HAVE for every mom!!! http://fivestarbooksandmore.blogspot.com/p/fiction.html

You know those moments when you see your child struggling to make good choices? My desire always is help my kids understand their struggles and resolve them in a God-honoring way. This lovely little book is a great tool for doing just that. http://www.owlhaven.net/2012/05/05/last-mothers-day-giveaway/

This book should be in every family's library - it's just that good. This book was newly updated to include a section on identifying "teachable moments" in your child's life. Furthermore, the ideas for simple discussions, Scriptures for memorization, and activities that are adaptable to your children's ages and interests will make you wonder why you didn't have this book before!

Ms. Durbin takes scripture and teachable moments for parents to use as a reference. She does a great job at using situations that could come up in a child's life and using verses to help guide the child on his/her path of faith. She recommends that parents use this for children two years old and up. So if you're a parent of a two year old or a sixty-three year old pick this book up. http://jesusbookgirl.blogspot.com/2012/04/parenting-with-scripture.html

I love the fact that this book is set up in such an easy to understand way. With every issue being categorized alphabetically you have the opportunity to be able to find exactly what you would like. Also, the book gives you so many conversation starters and ways to incorporate this into your everyday routine, making it so simple to incorporate spirituality into any conversation with their child. http://dadofdivas-reviews.blogspot.com/2012/04/book-review-parenting-with-scripture.html

I love this book. I don't like very many parenting books because they can be such a beat down but this book is so refreshing. Perhaps I like this book more because it uses the Bible instead of quotes from famous parents. This book should be on every parent's bookshelf! Read my full review on www.caryplunkett.com
