A Serious and Humorous Discussion on Politics

September 19, 2012

Dr. Amy Black, author of Honoring God in Red or Blue: Approaching Politics with Humility, Grace, and Reason, joins Phil Vischer & Skye Jethani to discuss the historical influence of evangelicals in politics, how the key issues of Christians have switched political parties over the years, and the weakness of blindly supporting one party as the best representative of Christian values.

They addresss the challenge of facing difficult political issues and the need to exercise political compromise to achieve goals in a democracy, and the need of Christians to engage politics with grace and humility, which is often more important than the political issues.
